David Neil Lee

David Neil Lee has just published his first YA novel: The Midnight Games, a tale of Lovecraftian horror set in his home city of Hamilton, Ontario. To Black Gate Magazine, The Midnight Games is “precisely what the world needs: an action-packed Young Adult Cthulhu Mythos novel,” Hamilton Magazine calls it “a thrilling modern mystery … gripping and strange from beginning to end,” and Open Book Toronto praises it as “an engrossing young adult novel … the perfect Halloween read.” David’s other books include the eerie west coast drama Commander Zero, the acclaimed jazz monograph The Battle of the Five Spot, and the international best-seller Chainsaws: A History. He is currently finishing a PhD in English & Theatre Studies at the University of Guelph.
