Robert J. Sawyer


Robert J. Sawyer is the bestselling author of Hugo-winner Hominids and Nebula-winner The Terminal Experiment, plus Starplex, Frameshift, Factoring Humanity, Calculating God, Humans, Rollback, and Wake, all of which were Hugo finalists. According to The Locus Index to Science Fiction Awards, he is the #1 worldwide all-time leader in number of award wins as novelist in the science-fiction and fantasy fields. Rob holds honourary doctorates from the University of Winnipeg and Laurentian University, and was one of the nine initial inductees into the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame.

The ABC TV series FlashForward was based on his Aurora Award-winning novel of the same name. His 23rd novel, Quantum Night (which just received a starred review, denoting a book of exceptional merit, from Publishers Weekly), is a March 2016 title from Penguin Canada.
